History: This sweet little man needed rescue from an overcrowded shelter. He arrived to rescue and has won our hearts- he is such a sweet boy. He is hoping to find a family of his own!
A note from the foster: Einstein is a super love-able little guy. We have pre teen and teens in the house and he has not issues with them at all. We don't have young kids around so we haven't had him exposed to anyone under 9. We have a larger dog and Einstein plays well with her. We also have to cats and he doesn't have any issues with them. He does try and get them to play but the cats are cats and are not interested. Einstein is always looking for attention. He loves if you focus on him and play fetch or tug. Once he is tired from playing he will lay and chew on his toys and entertain himself just fine. However, if you sit down, he prefers to be on your lap or right next to you. Einstein is learning basic commands like "sit" and "stay". He loves to go for walks outside and if you want to run he loves to run with you. Einstein could be placed almost any type of home situation. He loves kids, cats and other dogs. He would make a good dog for people who don't want to go through the puppy stage and still have a dog who loves to play and then snuggle. He would make a good companion for a single person or an older couple looking to have a dog that's easy to care for. He is an all around good dog and easy size to handle inside or on a leash. Einstein is barricaded in our laundry room and bathroom at night and while we are gone during the day. He has had no problems holding it for up to 9 hours at a time.
He is such a good and smart little dog, he was obviously someones beloved pet at one time. Einstein has come along way and now you would never know by looking at him now. His fur is growing back and he is a happy go lucky little dog that would love to find his furever home.
