Jessica and Bryan
Jessica and Bryan have established themselves amongst CHDR’s foster families by opening their home to 30+ puppies and a handful of adult dogs. You would think exercising, feeding, bathing, cleaning up after, and getting to know up to six puppies at a time would get exhausting and leave them no time for other volunteer opportunities with Coco’s Heart but that is not the case. These two have dedicated so much time to fundraising, transporting, and organizing supplies. They even represented Coco’s Heart on a mission trip to Lake Traverse Indian Reservation to help save pets fallen victim to the pet ban.
Coco’s Heart would not be what it is today without the support and dedication given by Jess and Bryan, we thank them from the bottom of our HEARTS!
Ashlee and Family!
Ashlee has been a wonderful addition to our foster home base! She is always up for helping the rescue out- whether it be baking for a fundraiser or fostering a litter of puppies. She doesnt realize how awesome she is- when I asked if I could stop by to take a picture of her and the crew for our Featured Foster Family she laughed and said “You must be running out of families!”
Recently she fostered 3 puppies that came in from Red Lake. They were quickly diagnosed with parvo and would require treatment immediately- one of the puppies had a very poor prognosis. Ashlee was presented with all of the information and insisted on providing these pups with the intense care and love they needed to pull through. We credit her with saving Biggie, Princess and Rosebud- the 3 pups that are now happy, healthy and looking for their forever homes!

The Bartel Family
Judy and Danny have been a wonderful addition to Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue. They have fostered several dogs over the course of fostering for us- they must be close to 50 foster dogs in the last year and half since becoming a foster home. They do a great job fostering- but help out in other ways too! Judy is one of our adoption event coordinators, and also assists with transports and other fun activities such as school presentations. Danny is always around to give us his handy-man advice and is only a phone call away if we need to ask him a question. We would be lost without the amazing duo of Judy and Danny! Thank You for all that you do for our rescue dogs in need!
The Altomari Family
We would like to introduce you to the Altomari Family! They have each helped our rescue efforts in many ways- from fostering, to homevisits, transports, odd-jobs, adoption events- and adopters They are always a friendly face to see in the crowd, with an obvious love for the rescue work they contribute to.
