History: Tiny will melt your heart. He is a sweet boy that just wants to be loved.
A note from the foster: Tiny is a sweetheart who is very shy at first, but warms up fast and is a complete snuggle bug. He loves being outdoors where he can just hang out in the sun while you do yard work or sit on the deck with you while you relax, he is definitely observant of everything going on outside. We like to take him to the lake where he has a blanket we take with and he lays down next to me and seems to just enjoy the finer things in life. We have specific times set aside each evening that Tiny is allowed to chew on his bones, something he really loves to do. He does not have any interest in any toys or playing fetch at this time, but I am still trying to show him that it’s okay to play and have fun and slowly I can see the more playful side of Tiny coming out. Tiny can also “dance” on his back legs, while begging for a treat, which he takes very gently from you. Overall, wherever you are, you can expect Tiny to be. If he strays to far from me outside, by simply calling his name, he does come back by me. Tiny has been doing great with going to do his business outside. We take him out frequently to ensure that he does not have any accidents in the house.
Tiny has been around other dogs, and does great with them; he even tries to snuggle with his foster brother. Tiny has also been around younger children, however because he is very shy at first, I think a home with older children or without children would be the best fit for him. Tiny is also kennel trained, we put him in the kennel when we leave for longer periods of time. However, if we are only gone for a short period of time, we don’t kennel him and he does just fine.
Tiny would be a great asset to any family looking for a snuggling, little guy. He loves attention and would really enjoy a family who would love to give him a lot of belly rubs.
