Coco's Heart Academy- Rescue in Education
Coco's Heart Academy is a program where we teach children of all ages about rescue. We teach why rescue is important and what kids can do to help.
Coco's Heart Academy will schedule a time to come and talk to your group at your location. We tailor our program to meet the needs and ages of your school group. We can also bring rescue dogs with to your school/program if it works for your group. We work with school classrooms, daycare programs, after school groups and church groups.
Service Projects: The visit can also be combined with a service project you are doing that supports rescue. Many classroom groups combine with a fundraiser they are doing already. We can also assist your class/group in making dog toys for our rescue dogs.
If you would like to set up a visit for your classroom or have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org!
Coco's Heart Academy did our first summer day camps in August 2016. We had 3 one-day camps of different age groups. The kids learned about Coco's Heart, dogs and rescue in many different ways. We had guest speakers such as a veterinarian, a dog trainer and our own Ashley Kurtz, founder of Coco's Heart.
We recently finished our 2nd annual Coco's Heart Academy. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to next years camp! Please e-mail email@example.com for more information on next year camps or watch our Facebook page to be kept up to date on information!
