History: Norman is a sweet puppy that was overlooked at an overcrowded shelters. His litter-mates were adopted but nobody had interest in Norman because he has a condition called Lymphodema (swelling of his back legs). He is doing great and it does not slow him down. We are hopeful he will out grow it but his future family needs to be prepared to care for him regardless of what the future holds. He is hoping to find a special family of his own!
A note from the foster: Norman is a playful, energetic, and adorable puppy. He enjoys being around people, and loves to stay close to his humans. He warms up quickly and doesn't take long to cuddle up to anyone that he meets. He is also great around other dogs. Norman is a smart pup and has picked up skills quickly. He knows sit, stay, lay down, spin, high five, kennel up, and more. He is house broken and crate trained for the most part, but he is still working on perfecting these skills. Norman does have a condition called lymphedema, which can be noticed by swelling of his hind legs. The swelling is variable, so there are times that it is more or less noticeable. However, he requires no special care, and does not seem to be affected by it in the least bit. He still runs, jumps, and plays like any other puppy. Norman has a lot of love to give and is looking for a family that can see past his sometimes chubby back legs for the cute and loving pup that he is.
