History: Poor Sheba. She has obviously had a difficult past. She arrived to rescue as a stray off of a reservation, recovering from severe chemical burn wounds. She is a sweet girl hoping to find a family ready to give her all of the love and care she deserves.
A note from the foster: Hi friends, my name is Sheba. I may have been injured by hands of mankind, but I am not giving up on finding that special someone who will love me just as much as I'm willing to love them. I am tough, I am strong and I am on a hunt to a better life than my past. My wound may shy some away, but don't be fooled. I still enjoy running and playing with my dog friends, going for morning and afternoon walks with my foster parents, and shaking up all the cool toys I have. I am great on leash, but love squirrels, cats, and bunnies, so it is probably not smart for me to be in a house that has other four legged critters besides dogs. I get along with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and gender and I have a very kind soul to everyone including kids. I may be shy around men at first, but I warm up to them quickly especially if they have a treat in hand and treat me with nothing but love. I'm looking for my perfect, active companion and I hope that special someone is you.
