Doggie Day is a fun-filled day supporting your furry friends! It starts with the 5K event at 10:00am and continues with many fun activities until 1:00pm. Make it a family outing and enjoy the beautiful Lakefront Park with plenty of vendors, food and fun!!

Meet our 2026 Mascot!
Coco's Heart Alumni, Odie! This happy go lucky boy is super excited to be the four-legged representative of our Annual Doggie Day festivities!
Odie is a one-year-old Keeshond rescued from Coco's Heart Dog Rescue. Odie was discarded by a commerical breeder release, he was the runt of his litter—but his personality is anything but small. He’s incredibly smart and definitely knows he’s cute, which sometimes works in his favor when he decides he has other plans instead of doing what he’s supposed to. Odie is very much a still a puppy. He is playful, curious, and full of life. He’s equally motivated by treats and praise, and happily hears “good boy” on a regular basis. Sweet, silly, and endlessly charming, Odie especially loves kids—after all, they’re just his size!
Odie was adopted into a loving forever home; we are grateful for their support and excited to have Odie be our 2026 Doggie Day Mascot!
