History: Inna is a stunning girl who needed a second chance to a good life. She will thrive with a patient environment and family who is willing to continue working on her trust and confidence. She is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever family soon!
Inna was found to have hip dysplasia by our veterinary team upon examination. We would be happy to provide more information about hip dysplasia upon request.
A note from the foster: Although still hesitant around new people, she warms up and likes human attention. She comes out of her kennel more when the door is left open to explore and follows me around the most. She displays a little separation anxiety from me when I leave the house, but only when she is out of the kennel. Otherwise, she is very calm in her kennel. She sleeps very sound and quiet at night in her kennel and has kept her kennel very clean.
We are still working on potty training by taking her out regularly for potty breaks and using the command, “go potty”. We have had a few accidents, but 2 of them were more my fault by not taking her out on time.
She is very good walking on a leash!
She likes to talk a bit (playful/nervous growl/bark) when she is in her kennel and ready to get out in the morning, when new people approach her when she is in her kennel. She gets VERY excited to see me when I wake up and get her out of her kennel. She is a professional butt wiggler and tail wager – it is very cute.
As Inna’s personality is coming out, I have noticed that she likes to chew a bit so I recommend having a lot of chewable toys around. Inna loves to play and wants to run around with Aja, therefore, I think she would do best with a secure, fenced yard to run and play in.
She is such a sweetie and definitely has a playful side.
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
