History: Miles of Smiles AKA Miles is a super smiley and happy boy who needed a second chance from a rural area. He is all things stocky with an A+ personality. He has his paws crossed to meet his forever home soon!
A note from the foster: Miles of Smiles is a smiley and happy pittie boy. He has a beautiful brindle coat, and is a nice medium size.
Miles is friendly fella who likes all people, kids, and dogs. He loves to run and wrestle with his doggie friends. If given the chance he'd play all day, but also loves to squeeze in some good quality snuggle time.
Miles is potty trained and does well in the house. He can sit, and responds well to his name. He is currently working really hard at being a good boy in a crate, and is doing wonderful. He prefers a very sturdy plastic kennel over a wire one. Miles will need to learn some leash skills, as he is a puller and wants to go go go! Not all dogs come to rescue with great skills - but Miles has been steadily progressing and will do great with continued training!
Though Miles looks like a big tough guy, he is a big baby at heart. He's nice, sweet, and oh so fun. He'd make a great dog for so many types of homes. He can't wait to meet his forever family!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
