History: Anika is a beautiful girl who was returned to rescue recently. She is a friendly girl with people and thrives with slow intros or meshing with the right fit for canines. While cats are cute, she prefers a cat-free home. Anika is ready to find her forever home soon!
A note from the foster: Anika or Ani is an adorable black and white pittie mix looking for a family who likes to play! She's fun, faithful, and friendly!
Ani likes every single person she meets. She's a big ball of happiness who will play or snuggle with anybody and everybody. As soon as you walk in the door, she's your best friend!
Ani's a well behaved gal in the home. She's fully potty trained, and can be trusted not to chew on things. She is doing really well re-learning how to use a kennel while back in rescue.. she hesitates going in, but is calm and quiet once settled inside. She sleeps quietly through the night kenneled.
Ani loves to play play play! She can entertain herself with toys, and likes to play toys with her humans too. Ani loves to play with other dogs who want to go go go. She can be a bit much for some dogs and that's ok. She is re-learning when to take a break from playtime, and will need some reminders from her humans. She does best with easy going dogs who have a non dominant vibe.
Ani is a wonderful snuggler at the end of a fun day. She loves curling up on the couch, sprawling out on the floor, or chilling out with her notorious full body sploot.
She's hoping to find her forever family soon! She promises to play, snuggle, and put a smile on your face every day!
Adoption Fee: $500 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
