A Note from the Foster: Hi! My name is Buzzy, and I’m a 12 week old Moyen poodle with a very appropriate name because I love buzzing around the house. My foster mom calls me her “little shadow” because I want to be everywhere she is to see what she’s up to and to remind her that I sometimes need some cuddles to feel more secure. I love playing with my soft toys and a Kong with peanut butter, but I don’t have a very long attention span yet. My foster mom says I’ve been doing well with potty training because sometimes I remember to sniff near the door to signal that I need to potty. I like to go outside to do my business, but more importantly, I get to pounce on leaves and sniff all the fun scents—so much to discover.
I miss my foster mom during the day since she works outside the home, but I’m happy to stay in my create with my toys until she comes home because when she comes home, we play, romp outside, and then watch TV together. My foster mom says that my intake exam is complete and that I get to see the nice vets at Coco’s on April 18th for something called neutering. I would love to meet you and become part of your furever family!
Adoption Fee: Our adoption fees typically vary from $500-$1250 + tax. Our coordinator will be in touch with you with specific information during the application processing. For more information on where our animals come from, here is some additional information. Thank you!
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
