History: We received a plea to help an adorable litter of shepherd mixes from a rural area with the help of a partnering organization. They are SUCH sweet kiddos who learn very quickly and aim to please. They are hoping to find forever homes of their own soon!

A note from the foster: Hello!  We (my 4 sisters and I) cannot wait to meet you as we love everyone ! It all started this day a really nice lady put us in the back of her car to drive us to our foster mom’s place. We weren’t sure what was going on..when the trunk door open  - we started to feel pretty good as we heard happy voices - “they were so good on the drive.” “WOW - they are so quiet no barking at all” “ I think I just died and went to heaven -these look like purebreds ! Can they be any more gorgeous ?!!”

from that day we have settled into a pretty solid routine. We stay in a huge pen with a potty area for us. We don’t mind it all and sleep there from 9:30 pm to 6:30 am. Foster mom has us out for an hour every two hours - and says to be proud she never had to clean a mess in our play area. We have met a bunch of different people who come to play with us and think they are so fun. We make sure to give them lots of kisses and cuddles so they know how much we appreciate them! The other day foster mom introduced us to what we think could be our uncle and BOY did we LOVE that !!!

Our foster mom says that our personalities are soo similar it really just depends on the time of the day. She says that there is a reason shepherds are her favoritest ever - we are smart, playful and cuddly. And our eyes…she’s says when we gaze into her eyes she says she’s not sure how she can let us go ❤️

Now a little bit about me!! Foster mom calls me Mae bc I am her Lily’s favorite - and I guess Lily loves anime!! Lily says I am the sweetest but it just bc I love meeting new people and giving them kisses!! Even though I think I am just as big as my sisters- I get told I seem like the peanut. I cannot wait to give you a kiss!! I promise to give you some everyday if you adopt me!

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsively more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
