History: Chino is a super handsome little man who needed a second chance to a good life. He arrived to rescue eager to please and has his paws crossed to meet you soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hello, my name is Chino. I am a five-month-old Boston Terrier. I am grateful to be living with my foster family rather than in the puppy mill where I was born. Since joining my new family, I have had the opportunity to experience many new things that were unfamiliar to me, such as walking on a leash and spending time outside.
I really want to interact with momma’s resident dogs, but she says I need to wait a few more days because I’m still very small and they are quite large. I’m very curious about them and could watch them all day long. I enjoy spending time in my crate and sleep there all night without disturbing my new family. Momma says I’m doing great with potty training since I go outside to potty and keep my crate clean.
My favorite activity right now is cuddling with my mom. I would spend all day resting in her lap if she allowed it. Additionally, I enjoy playing with my human sister; she engages with me and my toys every day. I love to run around, spin, and wiggle because it brings me so much joy.
While I truly appreciate my foster family and feel content here, I have a strong desire for a family that I can truly call my own. I yearn for the opportunity to snuggle, play, and continue my learning journey in a forever home. I am confident that I will bring my new family countless years of joy, happiness, and cherished memories.
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
