History: Cory is a handsome fella who arrived to rescue with the help of a partner organization of ours in rural North Dakota. He is full of life and SUCH a sweet boy who hopes to find his forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Say hello to Cory, an irresistible 11-week-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and curiosity. Though he may be a little shy at first, it doesn't take long for this sweet pup to warm up—and once he does, get ready for snuggles, tail wags, and playtime galore!
Cory has spent time with school-age kids and teens and absolutely lights up when his favorite human friends come to play. He’s also become best buddies with our 70-pound Catahoula mix—now they're inseparable! Cory loves climbing, wrestling, and romping around with his furry friend, showing off his growing confidence.
This clever pup is highly food-motivated and already knows "sit" and "come here." He's working on potty training and is picking up fetch and leash walking like a champ. Cory loves being outdoors—whether it’s chasing leaves, exploring the yard, or just soaking up the sunshine with his doggy pal or humans.
At the end of the day, Cory transforms into the ultimate cuddlebug, curling up on your lap for a cozy nap. He’s a sweet, playful, and loving companion who's ready to bring joy to a forever family who has plenty of room for adventures—and snuggles.
Could Cory be the missing piece to your family? Come meet this little lovebug and see for yourself!
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
