History: Elsie is a beautiful girl who was surrendered to rescue by a commercial breeding program. She is doing well in her foster home and dreams of finding her forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Elsie arrived recently and is doing amazing! She is the sweetest ever and absolutely loves and demands attention. She is somewhat of a velcro pup, but who can blame her coming in as a breeder release and likely only knowing a cage 24/7.
The perfect home for her would be with someone wanting a very affectionate lap dog. She absolutely loves people and wants nothing more than snuggles and pets, then repeat time and time again. 💕 She is definitely making up for lost time.
She can be vocal at times, so shared walls would likely not be a good idea. She is comfortable on leash but not a fan of the cold.
She sleeps quietly in her kennel at night alongside another foster. Absolutely loves squeaky toys and is just an amazingly sweet girl.
She is hoping to find her family before the holiday and have a soft bed and warm lap to call her own.
She recently got a much needed haircut and loves to wear a sweater.
Could you be the family she is looking for?
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
