History: Fenn is a super handsome little man who needed a second chance to a good life. He arrived to rescue eager to please and has his paws crossed to meet you soon!
Fenn is reported to have hip dyspasia in his right hip. He will need a recheck coming up to determine if a FHO surgery is needed or not. He is available as a “foster to adopt” where his veterinary care and potential surgery would be at the expense of our organization but he can go "home” to his forever family and recover with them while strengthening his bond with them.
A Note from the Foster: Fenn has settled right in at his foster home quickly after only moving his bags in 4 days ago. He has made friends with the cats, though as much a friend as able with cats.
He and his "brother" take great delight getting into things, doing zoomies, taking each other's toys, and excelled in an AP course, proctored by his before mentioned brother in how to escape from the brand-new puppy play yard by leaping to the top, and over out.
Foster mom was not impressed as it was the first time he has ever been in it!
Potty training is ongoing, though doing a great job with a schedule. He has been known to try to mark, once neutered this should stop.
Crate training is a work in progress. We have had to start from scratch. He tried explaining to said same foster mom that everyone has a small fault, and this may be his. "As cute, funny and sweet as I am, this isn't all that bad!"
With help from foster parents.
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
