History: Gordon is a handsome little boy who needed a second chance at a good life. He arrived to rescue nervous and afraid but has been making great strides with his trust and confidence in his foster home. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Welcome to the good life, Gordon! This beautiful boy deserves all the good things life has to offer after a rough start and 6 years in the breeding world. Gordon is a mini toy aussie weighing in at just about 12 pounds. He is sweet and calm, but definitely needs a calm and quite environment to call home. Gordon is very curious about humans and enjoys following his foster mama around the house. He will also sit with her and snuggle with blankets. He doesn't mind the other dogs in his home, but is not a fan of his youngest foster sibling - a young, energetic puppy. Gordon would do fine as an only dog or with calm dogs who allow him some space. Gordon is mostly potty trained and enjoys running laps in his fenced yard. He has shown lots of bravery by mastering entering and exiting the house without assistance - but sometimes waits for a ride in from his foster mom. Gordon has had some dental work and is a bit of a fussy eater. Soft foods are this guys preference, but he will eat kibble mixed in and softened. He is working so hard on becomming a family dog and would be so loving and appreciative to have a quiet, loving family of his own. If you think you might be what Gordon needs for his second chance in life, apply today! He is one loving and adorable little guy ❤️
Adoption Fee: $500 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
