History: Kit and Kat are an adorable little family who needed a second chance at a good life. Kit is a bit unsure at first due to lack of socialization in earlier years but is trying so hard to be brave and learn all about the good life. She is doing great!
Her puppy, Kat has a condition called microphitalmia which means his eyeballs are abnormally small. They is no follow up care for this however his forever home should be aware of this and be prepared for any future care that may be needed due to this.
They are both excited and ready to start their journeys in finding forever homes of their very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Kat is a little doll in a tiny puppy body. He is already 100% kid approved as he has become accustomed to being wrapped in a baby blanket and cuddled on the couch while watching the grinch every morning. He does great in car rides (because my kids claim he needs to come to school drop off and pick up.) He is also working on potty training as he is very young and needs to get out often. He hops like a deer keeping up with everyone walking around the house and outside playing. I have no doubt he is going to flourish in his next home

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
