History: Keyes is a super handsome little man who needed a second chance to a good life. He arrived to rescue eager to please and has his paws crossed to meet you soon!
A Note from the Foster: Keyes is a happy-go-lucky young Bichon Frise who has been in rescue for just a few days.
Need a cuddler in your life? He is your man. Keyes loves to cuddle! There is nowhere else he’d rather be than curled up in a cozy lap. He tolerates being picked up but would much rather be independent on the ground and make his own way around. He will happily follow you wherever you go!
Due to the freezing weather, Keyes has not yet picked up on potty training. His little feet just say “no way!” within a couple minutes of being outside. He is looking forward to learning some great potty training skills once the weather warms up or once he obtains a pair of booties.
Keyes is quiet in his crate throughout the night but will complain during the day before settling down. If he had it his way, he’d be glued to your hip 24/7 and he lets you know it.
Grooming does not phase Keyes at all. He happily napped away while getting his nails trimmed and relished in the warm water during his two baths.
This little white fluffball looks forward to joining his forever family!
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
