History: Kit and Kat are an adorable little family who needed a second chance at a good life. Kit is a bit unsure at first due to lack of socialization in earlier years but is trying so hard to be brave and learn all about the good life. She is doing great!
Her puppy, Kat has a condition called microphitalmia which means his eyeballs are abnormally small. They is no follow up care for this however his forever home should be aware of this and be prepared for any future care that may be needed due to this.
They are both excited and ready to start their journeys in finding forever homes of their very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Kit is GORGEOUS. Her hair is absolutely stunning and has the most petite perfect face.
She is working on enjoying a home and having human interaction. She does a lot of pacing around the house while working through her anxiety but she still behaves so well! She does great with other dogs and kids. She is almost potty trained with a couple over night accidents as we are working on finding the best schedule for her. She shakes her body with excitement when you get down to give her attention so she is definitely wanting to be loved she is just getting use to all the attention.
I have high hopes for her that she is going to be the best little family dog.
Adoption Fee: $550 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
