History: Malibu is a beautiful girl who was surrendered by a commercial breeding facility and arrived to rescue ready to get a fresh start. She arrived to rescue in real rough shape with lots of skin missing as well as gunk all over her eyes and crusties on her nose. Fast forward to today, she is looking and feeling great!
A Note from the Foster: Meet Malibu, the sweetest English bulldog you will ever know. As most English bulldogs, her adorable underbite causes her to sleep with her tongue out, and she wags her entire body when she’s excited. She has not met a human or dog she does not love. We do not know how she would be with cats as I don’t think she’s ever been around one. She loves to lounge around and sleep, but also will get the zoomies and play with toys until she tires herself out.
Malibu is extremely well-behaved in the home, and follows a routine very well. She is fully potty trained and crate trained. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard a peep out of her as she doesn’t really bark or whine.
Malibu would be a perfect family dog or for quieter household as well. Honestly, anyone who is willing to adopt her I think is winning the lottery.
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
