History: Each year Coco’s Heart participates in an Out of the Cold (OOTC) rescue effort helping save hundreds of animals from the cold, welcoming them to rescue and into warm, loving foster homes.
23 kitties were rescued as part of this year's effort. They met their foster families on November 9. Ever since then, they have been enjoying warm homes, plenty of food and tender loving care for the first time in their little lives.
Before adoption, all kitties will be medically certified, spayed or neutered, and up to date on on all necessary vaccines. While some of these babies may still be understandably shy, they are not feral. All are ready to go home with a loving family of their very own.
A note from the foster: Mocha is a very pretty girl with sleek, shiny black fur and piercing eyes. She was overwhelmed by the long, noisy trip from North Dakota and is still a bit timid.
Despite her unease, Mocha's desire for affection wins out in the end. She will voluntarily approach us to ask for pets and cuddles; it just takes her a little while to work up the courage.
The same thing applies to play. She likes to play, but will defer to her brothers if they want to dominate the game or toy. She will do best in a caring home without dominant, aggressive pets or overly enthusiastic young children.
Once she is comfortably settled in, Mocha will reward you with loving eyes and gentle purrs. She is a very sweet baby who just needs a little tenderness.
