Gender: Male
Breed: Boston Terrier
Age: DOB: 03/2023

Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Kid Friendly: Unknown
House Trained: Doing great!
History: Montgomery is a handsome fella who needed a second chance at a good life. He is such a sweet boy who is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever home!
Montgomery is also presumed to be deaf.
A note from her foster: Hey there! I'm Montgomery, "Monty."
A life with me would be non-stop laughter and adventure! I am always finding new ways to entertain myself. I have pretty constant energy, but when I do finally wear myself out it's guaranteed I will fall asleep in your arms! I love people!
I am nearly potty trained and haven't had a single accident in my kennel. Only if there's really good smells inside do I have the urge to mark, so I'm definitely looking for a patient forever home to further my training. I don't know commands quite yet but hey, I'm still a kid! I can walk on a leash no problem, and am fearless even when we pass other people walking by.
I sleep in my crate at night for over 8 hours barely making a peep! I also respect the resident dog and know when to give him his space. In fact, I don't pay much attention to him at all - only my people! I'm basically my foster mom's shadow.
I would make the perfect pet for someone looking for a spunky and cuddly companion. Can't wait to meet you!
Adoption Fee: $550 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
