A Note from the Foster: Hi there! I’m Nala, a petite pittie, but don’t let my size fool you—I am VERY strong! 💪
I just joined rescue this past weekend and have settled in beautifully with my new foster family.
I’m one year old and, let’s be honest, absolutely stunning! My foster mom and dad can’t stop telling me how gorgeous I am. I’ve got a sleek silver coat with hints of red, pink gums like lipstick, and dainty pink nails that make me feel oh-so-fancy.
I’m potty trained and already know some basic commands. I can sit, come, and take treats very politely. I even know what “no” means—when I hear it, I listen because I want to be the best girl I can be!
When I first arrived at my new house, I met two tiny humans and got SO excited! I ran right up to them and gave them lots of kisses. Mom says I’m definitely kid-friendly, and honestly, I just adore them.
I know pitbulls sometimes have a bad reputation, but I promise you, I’m the furthest thing from aggressive. I love to chew (what pittie doesn’t?), and I enjoy giving gentle love bites and playful nibbles—it’s just my way of showing affection.
I stick to my foster mom like glue. She’s definitely my person. Big, tall men make me a little nervous at first, so I might bark or growl, but my tail keeps wagging because I’m trying to figure out if they’re friendly. Every day, I’m getting more comfortable and learning that they mean no harm.
I’ve made friends with the resident dog, and we have so much fun playing games together. Life here is full of adventures!
Some things are still a bit strange to me—what even is tinfoil? It looks weird and makes me jump. And kids' toys? Those can be pretty spooky too. But really, I’m an easy-going girl, and I’m already learning that I’m safe and loved.
Oh, and I should warn you—I’m really good at snoring and snorting! I sound just like a little piggy, and it’s so loud my foster family can’t help but giggle. It’s just one of my charming quirks! 🐽
I can’t wait to find my forever family. Could that be you? ❤️
Adoption Fee: $500 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
