History: Nube is a beautiful little lady who had been living on the streets of Tijuana Mexico and arrived to rescue in good spirits. She is a friendly girl who hopes to find her forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hello! My name is Nube, which means “cloud” in Spanish. My foster mom says I’m more of the wispy variety instead of fluffy. I am really good at expressing my feelings with my ears and tail, so everyone around me knows my mood (which is usually happy and content). I love ALL the attention and am slowly learning the importance of personal space with my people. I don’t mind other dogs, but am a little leery of bigger dogs at first.
I’m completely potty trained and don’t mind being walked on a leash. I haven’t been on too many walks, though, because I’m not fond of the cold weather! I like my fenced in yard, so I can explore quickly then go back in and snuggle under a blanket.
When it comes to meal times, I prefer to eat in my crate. Actually, I don’t mind spending time in my crate. I’m quiet in it at bedtime and during the day while my foster parents are at work. I even go in there sometimes when I need some alone time.
I mentioned I don’t mind other dogs, but I’m not really into playing with them yet. Toys aren’t that interesting to me either. My foster mom is positive, that with a little time, my insecurities will fade and I will enjoy doing more “dog” things.
I am so excited to meet my forever family and float away with them!!☁️
Adoption Fee: $550 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
