History anda note from the foster: Miss Olive is a petite, sweet little kitty that loves people!  She greets us at the door with leg rubs and starts purring as soon as you pet her!  Her favorite things are exploring, getting petted, and playing with all of the cat toys-especially anything that rolls!  She even chases her tail!  Olive loves having a window seat to look out of and see what is happening outside. She loves a lap to cuddle on and someone to sleep with at night!  Although she is pretty timid and afraid of new/loud noises, she is starting to find her courage and venture out of her cat room and has now explored the entire house!  

Olive had a rough start coming into rescue, as she was adopted, but then returned because she didn't get along with the resident dog.  She is in a foster home now with 2 dogs and they are very respectful of her space, but she is very nervous around them and the resident cat.  Because of Olive's multiple moves and feeling like she needs to constantly protect herself and her space from other cats and dogs, we believe that she would love to be the only pampered pet in the house!  It will be important that she has some safe space to call her own to retreat to as she gets acclimated to in her new home. She would love a home to call her own with a few toys, lots of attention, and someone to curl up with when she isn't exploring!  Once you get to know her, she will surely steal your heart!  

Olive is a very shy, sweet kitty that loves her people, once she gets to know them.
