History: We received a local plea to help a litter of teenage English Labs from an outdoor living situation. They are social kiddos who do really well with other dogs. They are learning basic obedience, manners, and how to live in the home however they are extremely smart dogs who are learning very quickly. They are each hoping to find forever homes of their very own soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hi, my name is Posey! My foster parents call me Poe! I was pretty nervous when I first came to my foster home, but it only took me a day to come around to them. Now they are my favorite.
Once I choose you to be my person we are friends forever!
I am the sweetest, silliest girl and I am SUPER soft! I have the BEST smile and I do mean the BEST! I just get so happy to be with my people I can't help but have a giant smile when I see them.
I'm a pretty quiet girl, sometimes I bark at the mail man with my foster fur sister. She is teaching me how to be a dog and come out of my shell more and more every day. We play and hang out with out any issues.
We get a long great! I would love to have a fur friend in my new home, but would be fine without one as well. I just hope my forever family is ready to give me all the love and attention because that is my favorite!
I sleep in my crate quietly all night and keep it dry. I love to have a little stuffy toy with me in my crate, or around the house, or when I go out to go potty. Really I love a good stuffy toy. Like most labs I have a very soft bite so I just carry my stuffy around and don't really chew it up. I am almost %100 house trained, I am still a puppy so sometimes I have accidents, but I try really hard to go outside!
I can't wait to meet my forever family!
Lots puppy hugs!
💕 Posey
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
