History: Pretzel is a beautiful bully mix girl who was returned to rescue when she was no longer a fit for her home. She is an active and friendly girl who loves other dogs and adores people. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!
A note from the foster: 🐾 Hi, I’m Pretzel, but everyone calls me Callie - and I come running when I hear my name! 🐾 I’m the cuddliest girl you’ll ever meet and would love a home where I can snuggle up right next to you every night. 🛏️💞
I’d do great with a dog sibling my size or bigger who doesn’t mind me in their space, but I’d also be happy as an only pup as long as I have chances to socialize - I love having friends! I can be a little chatty when I get excited, too! 💬
I’ll be your partner in everything: lounging, adventuring, or even tinkering in the garage. My foster family calls me Mechanic Callie 🔧 because I’m my foster dad’s trusty helper. Loud noises? No problem for me!
I’m great about going into my kennel. When I know you’re leaving, I head right in without even being asked. I also love eating in there (yum!). But when you’re home, I might whine a little because I’d rather be with you, but I’m getting much better at being more patient! 🥰
Even though I love being by your side, I’m also great at entertaining myself - I’ll happily play with toys all day long! 🎾🧸
I know all my commands, and I’m as loyal as they come! I can’t wait to find my forever family who wants a constant companion by their side. Could that be you? 💕

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsively more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
