History: Priscilla is a beautiful girl who was recently surrendered to rescue and doing well in her foster home. She is officially ready to start her journey in finding her forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hello potential forever family,
I’d like to introduce myself. My given name is Priscilla, but I’m also called Princess P or Sweet P. I’m definitely a people pup, but I don’t mind other dogs (I currently live with two). I’m still learning boundaries since I’m figuring out what a real dog does. If you ask me, a dog’s life is the best!! I love snuggles and pats and ALL the attention.
I don’t mind being outside and exploring in my foster’s fenced-in yard, but I’m not a dawdler. I do my business and come right in. The leash is not my favorite, so sometimes I get stubborn and just sit. Thankfully I don’t mind being picked up and carried around.
I have mixed feelings about being in my crate. When I first go in, I whine a little in protest but then quiet down. I always get a treat when I go in it, so that makes the experience much more tolerable.
I recently discovered toys and enjoy dragging them all over the house. Bones, balls, ropes, I’m not picky, however, I do not like to share them with my foster siblings.
Speaking of being picky, I tend to be a little finicky during mealtimes. I’d rather graze throughout the day, but my foster mom says my foster siblings will eat it if I don’t.
I’m an affectionate little lady who is looking for a family to call my own and help me to be the best pup I can be. One warning, my sweet disposition makes it extremely hard to resist me-just ask my foster parents😉!
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
