Adoption Status: Accepting Adoption Interest
Gender: Male
Breed: Pitbull Terrier Mix
Age: DOB: 01/30/2025
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Likely due to young age
Kid Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Doing great!
History: I am North’s puppy and was born in rescue!
Momma North arrived to rescue from one of our partners in North Dakota and she was expecting a belly full of puppies! She has been doing wonderfully in rescue with her foster family on top of being a great momma to her litter of 9! Her puppies are pudgy and chunky friends who are each hoping to find forever homes of their own soon!
A Note from the Foster: I have had Rex for a short time and I am in love! I can already tell that this absolutely adorable little guy is smart, extra loving, cuddly and will be a very loyal companion. He is happy, healthy and a very chill puppy. He was born into a home with resident dogs and young children. He loves everyone and everything even my grouchy resident dog. He may just melt her heart and take away the grouchies….…. I can only hope :)
Rex slept in his kennel the first night with some protest but as soon as I put the kennel next to me he knew I was there and fell fast asleep. This was his first night without his siblings
If he sounds right for you, we would love to meet you. He is definitely a keeper.
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
