History: I am Mia’s puppy and was born in rescue!

Mia is a beautiful shepherd mix momma who needed help from our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort and arrived to rescue very, very pregnant. She has been the very best momma who has done such a great job at caring for her pups and they are now officially ready to start their journeys in finding forever homes of their very own soon!

A note from the foster: Meet Sam, a delightful puppy with a heart full of love. Her personality shines through her sweet, playful nature. She's smart, picking up on cues and commands with ease. Her friendliness is contagious, and she's quick to make friends with everyone she meets. 

Sam has a special fondness for children, engaging in gentle play and offering affectionate nuzzles. She's also fond of feline companions, displaying a rare understanding and respect for their independent nature. 

Sam sleeps nicely in her crate with a few whines of protest. She has been doing well with going potty outside when on a schedule, rides nicely in a car and loves being outside. 

Sam's intelligence, playfulness, and affectionate nature make her an ideal addition to any family. Her ability to bond with kids and cats alike promises a harmonious household. Bring Sam home and experience the joy of unconditional love and companionship.

Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful!
