History: Shiloh is a striking boy who captures the attention of everyone who he meets. He has became a volunteer favorite around here and not just because he was returned to rescue twice… yes…. TWICE :( He is an active young boy who will thrive with an active and confident family. He loves to have a mission and tries real real hard to please.
A note from the foster: Shiloh is looking for an active family that can get him regular exercise everyday. He would be a fantastic jogging or hiking partner and walks perfectly on leash! Shiloh is really great with other dogs and although it is not required, would benefit to having another playmate/companion in the house. Shiloh is looking for a family that is committed to helping keep up on his training and help him continue to grow. He is a true Velcro dog so kenneling and spending time away from his favorite people can be hard for him but he has made great progress in this area the past few weeks. Regular exercise helps him settle better later on. He currently sleeps through the night in his kennel and has been good with potty training. He knows many basic commands, is food motivated and learns super quick! Shiloh is a young lab mix with such great potential and he is hoping to find his family soon!
Adoption Fee: $550 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsively more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
