History: Tamale is a super handsome little man who needed a second chance to a good life. He arrived to rescue eager to please and has his paws crossed to meet you soon!
A Note from the Foster: Hi, I'm Tamale but my foster family calls me Tom Tom or Tommie. I'm a pup full of sweetness, playfulness, curiosity, and a dash of goofiness. I love exploring new toys, sniffing out hidden treats, and rolling around basically anywhere. I'm eager to learn new tricks, especially if you have a yummy reward for me.
I can't wait to find my forever home where I can share all my love and playful energy. I promise to fill your days with laughter and joy. Why should you adopt me? Well, I'm a bundle of joy waiting to bring happiness into your life. Adopt me and let's create a lifetime of memories.
Tamale may take a day or two to warm up to new people, but he is worth the wait. Once he trusts you, he lets himself loose. He loves all toys and playing with his foster fur siblings. He is learning potty is for outside and is doing pretty well on a schedule. He is working on liking his leash. He's mad he can't explore this wonderful world when he's attached to your hip! He sleeps quietly in his crate and loves treats. This sweet little low-rider is hoping to start the New Year off making memories with his Forever Family. Could that be you?
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
