We do not simply vaccinate, sterilize and rehome- we cater to each dog or cat’s individual needs and ensure all aspects of their health and well being are tended to. You will have access to:
Full in-house laboratory as well as use of Idexx referral and Cornell Diagnostic and University of Minnesota Diagnostic laboratories
Collaboration with veterinary behaviorists for tough behavior issues
Free reign to perform all necessary diagnostics and treatments at the highest level possible
Includes referrals to one of several nearby specialists (Associated Emergency and Referral Center, The University Of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine as well as local rehab and acupuncture facilities)

Qualification:
Shelter/HVHQSN experience preferred but not required.
Ideal candidate would have at least 5 years clinical experience, however, we are willing to make an exception for the right fit.
Must have excellent surgical technique
Must be able to multitask well
Must be able to communicate clearly and in a timely fashion with both veterinary and non-veterinary colleagues
Must be willing to oversee a team of 3-4 vet techs and ensure quality of care and maintain facility/equipment care
Must be willing to share on call duties which may include coming in after hours for emergencies
Must attend monthly staff meetings
Must be able to work in a fast paced setting with the unpredictable being the norm
Must have excellent written communication skills as email is the main mode of communication within the organization.
Compensation Package:
$115,000 annually
Generous medical stipend in lieu of medical benefits
