History: Yeti is a striking young boy reported to be a maltese/mini poodle mix who needed a second chance at a good life. He has been doing well in rescue and hopes to find his forever family soon!
A Note from the Foster: Yeti is an 8 pound master snuggler ! This little Maltese mix is about three years old. He gives glimpses into a funny little sense of humor, including the Zoomies! With the right forever home I think his sunny personality will shine through.
Yeti is great in his crate, he loves being safe and having his alone time. He goes in his crate easily and doesn’t make a peep in there, he sleeps all night.
He has mastered walking on a leash and likes to be outside chasing leaves and exploring. He knows to potty outside and does so easily, but needs reminders to be taken out. His potty training will come easily with more practice and time. He has leaned to use stairs, he’s very quiet and doesn’t bark, and is a good car rider. He is still a little nervous with new people and new experiences. With time and more confidence he will come through this.
He enjoys being around other dogs and even kids that are gentle. Yeti will do great in a house with lots of cuddling, and occasional quiet periods for down time.
Adoption Fee: $750 + tax
Adoption Status: Is this dog available? Submitting an application is the best first step to learning if a dog is still available. There is a chance this dog could have a pending adoption when your application is submitted, however our team will offer approved applicants to be put on a waiting list for that dog. Additionally, we can make recommendations on other dogs that may be a match. Pending adoptions do not mean the adoption is finalized. Why did we implement this change? We implemented this update because, unfortunately, dogs were pending for applicants for several weeks and then the applicant would change their mind. This happens more often with puppies, as applications are submitted impulsivly more often for them. Our process is great because it takes a little time, so impulsive decisions fade. However it was unfortunate for the dogs, and the foster homes, as then the process needed to be re-started. By securing a wait-list we are able to move forward more quickly if a pending adoption falls through. This is a new process for us, so your feedback along the way is helpful! Thank you for supporting rescue and adoption!
